You’ll help families create personalised and memorable farewells for their loved ones.
In this role, you’ll act as both an event coordinator and day-of-service conductor, ensuring each service runs smoothly and with care.
About the Role:
Coordinating all aspects of each service, from booking venues, hearse, flowers and catering;
Meeting with families to add personal touches and details to the service;
Entering service information into systems accurately;
Conducting the service on the day and ensuring all runs to plan;
Leading and coordinating the team on the day;
Assisting across centres when needed and supporting colleagues as part of a close-knit team; and
Participating in occasional PR or Community activities (e.g. morning teas at aged care homes, local events).
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you’ll need:
A current driver’s licence (essential);
Justice of the Peace (JP) accreditation for NSW/ACT (or willingness to obtain);
Strong PC and administrative skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; and
A high level of empathy, professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive conversations.
