Job Details

Senior GIS development opportunity to work with large QLD Government Department where you will be responsible for delivering the modernisation of Interactive Mapping solutions through the migration of legacy Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio.
 
You will provide specialist GIS development expertise to analyse, redesign, rebuild and deploy enterprise spatial applications, while improving maintainability, reducing technical debt and supporting long-term platform sustainability.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the migration of Geocortex Essentials applications, viewers, workflows and custom components to VertiGIS Studio Web;

  • Assess and rationalise ArcGIS Enterprise content including Portal items, groups, web maps, services, security models and application dependencies;

  • Develop and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise applications, services, integrations and spatial data solutions;

  • Develop and maintain custom code, integrations, REST services, security controls, editing tools and user management capabilities;

  • Provide technical and architectural advice relating to GIS platforms, application modernisation, integrations and spatial technologies; and

  • Refactor DotNET C# to integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS Studio.

You will bring strengths within:

  • VertiGIS Studio Web;

  • VertiGIS Workflow Designer;

  • Geocortex Essentials and Geocortex Workflows;

  • ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro);

  • ArcGIS Web Maps, Feature Services and Geoprocessing Services;

  • ArcGIS Portal administration and security;

  • Microsoft .NET / C#;

  • JavaScript / TypeScript;

  • HTML5 and CSS;

  • REST APIs and web service integrations; and

  • PostgreSQL / PostGIS.

Desirable:

  • ArcGIS SOI (Server Object Interceptor) development and security integration;

  • VertiGIS Printing and Reporting;

  • FME and spatial data integration;

  • ArcGIS Pro project (.aprx) development and migration; and

  • Datum transformations and spatial data conversion (e.g. GDA94 to GDA2020).

50% WFH available role is based in Brisbane northern suburbs.
