Head of Marketing | Relocation to Pacific Islands 
  
A well-established consumer goods business with a portfolio of household brands is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead brand, trade and marketing strategy across a large multi-brand operation in the Pacific Islands. 
  
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with genuine influence across brand, sales alignment, trade activation and long-term business growth. 
  
The business already has strong market presence and brand recognition. The opportunity now is evolving the function and bringing more strategic consumer thinking, stronger planning cadence and greater integration between sales and marketing. 
  
The role

You’ll lead a marketing team of around 15 across brand, trade activation, signage and creative production, while partnering closely with sales leadership and senior stakeholders across the business. 
  
The role covers everything from annual marketing planning and campaign strategy through to trade activations, promotions, sponsorships, digital, agency management and team leadership. 
  
This is a highly operational environment where success comes from balancing strategic thinking with execution, planning and relationship management. 
  
There’s also a strong cultural element to the role - understanding the local market, adapting global brands to local audiences and making decisions without the level of market data typically available in larger corporate environments. 
  
What you’ll be doing

• Leading marketing strategy across a portfolio of consumer brands;

• Managing annual planning, budgets, campaigns and activations;

• Building stronger alignment between sales and marketing teams;

• Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary marketing team;

• Managing agency relationships across creative, digital and social; and

• Driving both trade and consumer brand growth initiatives.

About you

You’re a commercially minded marketing leader who enjoys building structure, improving capability and leading teams through growth and change. 
  
You likely come from FMCG, consumer goods or a multi-brand environment, but don’t need to come from a global tier-one business. In fact, experience within entrepreneurial, family-owned or challenger-style businesses may translate particularly well. 
  
Most importantly, you’re adaptable, hands-on and comfortable making decisions in environments where instinct, relationships and commercial judgement matter just as much as data.
