The Opportunity

We are partnering with one of Australia's largest construction organisations to recruit an experienced HR Coordinator for a short-term contract opportunity commencing in July.

Supporting a busy and collaborative People team, this role will focus on delivering high-quality HR administration and coordination across the employee lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on onboarding, workforce compliance, employee records and offboarding activities.

This opportunity would suit a proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly step in and add value from day one.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general HR coordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle;

  • Prepare employment contracts, position descriptions, transfer letters, probation letters and other HR documentation;

  • Maintain and manage employee records and electronic personnel files;

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and workforce compliance activities;

  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, equipment returns and stakeholder coordination;

  • Support learning and development activities by maintaining training and compliance records within the Learning Management System; and

  • Assist the broader People team with HR projects and administrative tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or in a similar HR support role;

  • Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure, consulting, or other project-driven industries;

  • Strong experience coordinating onboarding activities and maintaining employee records;

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;

  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; and

  • A proactive approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
