We are partnering with a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation with sites across Australia and New Zealand. An opportunity has arisen for a HR Generalist to join the team, located at one of their key sites in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a broad and hands-on role that supports the full employee lifecycle.
Your role will include recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance and development support, HRIS compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a great opportunity for a HR professional looking to step into a varied generalist position with exposure across both operational and project-based HR activities.
What they are looking for:
2–5 years’ HR generalist experience;
Hands-on experience with HRIS and time & attendance systems;
Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels; and
High attention to detail and proven ability to analyse HR data and provide actionable insights.
