About the Role
u&u Recruitment Partners is partnering with a unique Queensland organisation to recruit an experienced Organisational Development & Learning HR BP for a 12-month opportunity.
Sitting within the Organisational Development team as part of the broader People & Capability function, this role will support a number of key people initiatives throughout the 2026 – 2027 financial year.
Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, Inclusion and Projects, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, supporting initiatives across organisational development, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, leadership capability and employee engagement.
The Role
This is a varied opportunity with a strong focus on supporting practical OD and learning initiatives across the organisation.
Key responsibilities and priorities will include:
Planning and coordinating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion days of significance, employee events and learning activities, including Harmony Week, International Women’s Day, Pride Month and NAIDOC Week;
Supporting the continued development of organisational values, competency and leadership frameworks;
Assisting with the development of a new secondment framework;
Supporting the development of the organisation’s induction program;
Developing engaging learning and development content;
Assisting with the design and facilitation of team workshops across areas such as courageous conversations, team effectiveness and trust;
Coaching and supporting leaders in the delivery of team sessions;
Supporting the ongoing implementation and administration of the organisation’s new Dayforce Learning LMS, incorporating the GO1 content library;
Assisting with course allocation, learning reminders and ongoing LMS administration; and
Contributing to broader organisational development, capability and employee engagement initiatives.
The role will also support employee surveys, learning programs, recognition initiatives and a range of OD and L&D projects across the organisation.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Organisational Development & Learning HR BP who enjoys working across a broad portfolio and can confidently support both the development and implementation of people initiatives.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Strong experience across Organisational Development and Learning & Development;
Experience designing and facilitating team workshops, learning programs or leadership development sessions;
Strong facilitation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills;
Experience developing L&D content and applying adult learning principles;
Experience working with Learning Management Systems, with Dayforce Learning and/or GO1 exposure advantageous;
Experience supporting OD, L&D or broader people projects from initiation through to completion;
The ability to build productive relationships and work closely with leaders and stakeholders;
Strong organisational, project management and time management skills; and
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or accreditation in psychometric tools such as DiSC, MBTI or TMS would be highly regarded.
