About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take full ownership of HR across Brisbane and Sydney sites. Reporting to the national People and Culture leader, you’ll be the on-site HR expert, partnering with operational leaders to deliver hands-on, high-impact HR solutions. This standalone role combines day-to-day HR delivery with strategic initiatives, allowing you to drive engagement, performance and compliance while seeing the real impact of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the on-site HR partner, delivering practical solutions that make a real difference for employees and operations;
Drive end-to-end HR across the full employee lifecycle, providing guidance on recruitment, onboarding, performance, engagement, employee relations, and offboarding;
Coach leaders to build capability, embed best-practice processes and enhance team performance;
Use HR metrics and insights to improve ways of working and inform business decisions;
Champion culture, engagement and values-based behaviours to create a positive, collaborative workplace; and
Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen efficiency and alignment across both sites.
About You
You’re a hands-on HR generalist who thrives in operational, standalone, or small-team roles. You enjoy working closely with leaders to deliver HR solutions across the full employee lifecycle and support projects, continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
Strong generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar blue-collar environment;
Proven ability to work independently and manage end-to-end HR in small to medium or multi-site environments;
Experienced in coaching leaders and resolving employee relations and performance matters;
Comfortable supporting projects, process improvements and strategic initiatives;
Adaptable, solutions-focused and confident influencing operational leaders; and
Willingness to occasionally travel interstate or support multiple sites.
