About the Role
This is an opportunity to step into a true HR Business Partner role supporting a Queensland-based workforce across multiple sites within a dynamic manufacturing and construction environment.
Reporting into a National HR function, you will be the key HR partner on the ground - working closely with operational leaders across both blue and white collar teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll embed yourself in the business, build trusted relationships, and contribute to both day-to-day operations and broader HR initiatives.
Partnering with leaders to provide practical, timely HR advice across the employee lifecycle;
Coaching managers on performance management, employee development, and workplace issues;
Supporting an upcoming EBA renegotiation, providing guidance and ensuring compliance;
Managing employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations and complex case management;
Driving engagement initiatives, onboarding improvements, and workforce insights / reporting;
Supporting remuneration reviews, workforce planning, and talent development activities; and
Contributing to HR projects and change initiatives aligned to broader business strategy.
About You
You’re a commercially minded HR professional who thrives in operational environments and enjoys being close to the business. You’re pragmatic, approachable, and confident building relationships at all levels.
You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role (ideally within industrial, manufacturing, construction or similar environments);
Proven ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, ideally with exposure to EA negotiation (though this is not essential);
Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and coaching leaders through complex issues;
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively; and
Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, Business or a related field (preferred).
