About the Role

This is an opportunity to step into a true HR Business Partner role supporting a Queensland-based workforce across multiple sites within a dynamic manufacturing and construction environment.

Reporting into a National HR function, you will be the key HR partner on the ground - working closely with operational leaders across both blue and white collar teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll embed yourself in the business, build trusted relationships, and contribute to both day-to-day operations and broader HR initiatives.

  • Partnering with leaders to provide practical, timely HR advice across the employee lifecycle;

  • Coaching managers on performance management, employee development, and workplace issues;

  • Supporting an upcoming EBA renegotiation, providing guidance and ensuring compliance;

  • Managing employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations and complex case management;

  • Driving engagement initiatives, onboarding improvements, and workforce insights / reporting;

  • Supporting remuneration reviews, workforce planning, and talent development activities; and

  • Contributing to HR projects and change initiatives aligned to broader business strategy.

About You

You’re a commercially minded HR professional who thrives in operational environments and enjoys being close to the business. You’re pragmatic, approachable, and confident building relationships at all levels.

You Will Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role (ideally within industrial, manufacturing, construction or similar environments);

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, ideally with exposure to EA negotiation (though this is not essential);

  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and coaching leaders through complex issues;

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively; and

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, Business or a related field (preferred).

Benefits & Culture

  • You’ll be joining a vibrant, energetic HR team that values collaboration, authenticity, and getting things done. The environment is well-established but still evolving - perfect for someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and fresh thinking;

  • Genuine opportunity to step into a true business partnering role with autonomy;

  • Supportive national HR function with strong collaboration across states;

  • Exposure to both strategic initiatives and operational HR in a complex, multi-site environment; and

  • A positive, down-to-earth culture where people roll up their sleeves and support one another.
