About the Role + Responsibilities
This is a standalone position based in Sydney, acting as the primary People & Culture contact for Australia. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Global P&C function, you will manage the full employee lifecycle.
Your core focus will be to act as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team and drive a positive, high-performance culture.
Key responsibilities include:
Employee Lifecycle Management: Managing everything from onboarding and contract vetting to visa checks and inductions;
Advisory: Providing expert guidance to managers and employees on ER matters, performance management, and local employment law;
Operational Excellence: Maintaining HRIS data accuracy, reporting, and supporting global HR initiatives at a local level;
Culture & Engagement: Leading initiatives that enhance employee experience, L&D coordination, and overall company culture; and
Compliance: Managing audits, vendor compliance, and ensuring all HR systems remain process-driven and agile.
What Experience You’ll Need to Apply
5+ years’ experience in a dedicated HR or People Ops role, either as a Senior HR Advisor or HRBP;
Prior experience in Construction, Real Estate, Architecture, Design & Build, or Financial Services is preferable;
Strong understanding of Australian employment law across different states, HR operations, and performance management processes;
You are a self starter and process-driven professional, ideally with some exposure of working in a standalone position; and
Full Australian working rights are mandatory for this role.
What You’ll Get in Return for Your Talents
You will receive a competitive salary between $130,000 – $150,000 per annum + 12% Super with a 10% annual discretionary bonus. They operate a hybrid working model 1-2 days WFH per week, with a brand-new central CBD location.
