Our client is a fast-paced national manufacturing business with a large operational workforce and a strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement. Operating across multiple sites, the organisation plays a critical role within its industry and continues to evolve its people, processes and systems to support operational excellence.

About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging HR professional to join a dynamic operational environment, supporting a broad range of HR activities across a predominantly blue-collar workforce while gaining exposure to employee relations, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, workforce administration and employee enquiries;

  • Support employee relations and case management processes, including investigations, performance matters, documentation and policy interpretation;

  • Partner with operational leaders to provide guidance on people matters, workforce processes and HR best practice;

  • Maintain accurate employee records, prepare workforce reporting and utilise HR data to identify trends and support decision-making;

  • Assist with engagement, recognition and retention initiatives that support a positive and productive workplace environment; and

  • Collaborate closely with the broader People & Culture team within a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, building strong relationships and supporting practical people outcomes across a complex operational workforce.

  • Demonstrated HR experience within a fast-paced and complex environment, ideally supporting a blue-collar or operational workforce;

  • Exposure to employee relations processes, including responding to enquiries, supporting investigations and preparing performance-related documentation;

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and professionalism;

  • A curious and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to ask questions, identify opportunities and contribute new ideas;

  • High levels of initiative and accountability, with the motivation to continue developing your HR capability and grow your career; and

  • A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in improving processes, systems and employee experiences within an evolving business environment.
