About our client

One of Australia's leading providers of commercial HVAC solutions organisations are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to join their Sydney team based in Seven Hills. This is a hands on technical role suited to an experienced HVAC+R professional with strong commissioning experience across critical cooling environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and optimise computer room air conditioning and critical environment equipment;

• Inspect project installations and ensure equipment is ready for commissioning;

• Complete pre commissioning inspections and verify contractor check sheets prior to commissioning;

• Commission equipment in line with project requirements, tender specifications and manufacturer standards;

• Identify, diagnose and rectify commissioning issues and equipment faults;

• Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and performing to the required specifications;

• Provide technical training to clients and end users on equipment functionality and operation;

• Work closely with project, service and office teams to coordinate commissioning activities and project requirements;

• Complete commissioning documentation, reports and required service records accurately and promptly; and

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety and professionalism across customer and project sites.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years experience within the HVAC+R industry;

• CRAC unit commissioning;

• Proven experience HVAC+R commissioning;

• Full Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification;

• ARCtick Licence;

• Restricted Electrical Licence;

• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capabilities with a methodical approach to commissioning;

• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with project and service teams;

• Professional presentation with strong customer service and communication skills; and

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.
