About the company

This is an opportunity to join a large, highly regarded professional services organisation with a sophisticated and well-established People & Culture function.

With a strong focus on creating an inclusive, safe and supportive workplace, the organisation takes a progressive approach to inclusion, well-being and psychosocial safety.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own a broad portfolio spanning inclusion, well-being and psychosocial safety, balancing both strategy and hands-on execution;

  • Lead a team of two, providing clear direction and oversight while giving them autonomy to deliver;

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen inclusion, well-being and psychosocial safety outcomes;

  • Take ownership of WGEA reporting, translating evolving requirements, data and targets into meaningful action beyond compliance;

  • Own key policy development and review across the portfolio;

  • Use people data and insights to identify risks, opportunities and areas for continuous improvement; and

  • Identify opportunities to remove barriers and improve the experience of people across the organisation.

What experience you need to apply

  • Must have experience within professional services, legal, financial services or another complex and regulated environment;

  • Strong, recent experience owning WGEA reporting and managing associated requirements;

  • Experience across inclusion, well-being, DE&I or a related People & Culture portfolio;

  • Strong program and project delivery capability, with the ability to manage initiatives from concept through to execution;

  • Previous people leadership experience;

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence working with senior stakeholders;

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to connect people initiatives to broader organisational priorities; and

  • A strong risk lens, with the ability to consider the longer-term implications of decisions and actions.

What you'll get in return for your talents

This is an opportunity to step into a role with real scope to shape the agenda, rather than simply inherit a set program of work.

You’ll have the opportunity to combine strategy with hands-on delivery, lead a developing team and work across complex, meaningful projects spanning inclusion, well-being, WGEA and psychosocial safety.

The organisation offers a balanced hybrid working model, with three days in their central Sydney office and two from home, alongside the opportunity to work within a highly regarded professional environment.

They are offering a competitive salary package alongside a suite of unique benefits.
