The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for managing internal sales activities and driving revenue growth. They cultivate strong relationships with existing customers, nurturing loyalty, and maximising sales opportunities. Additionally, the role entails proactively identifying and pursuing new business prospects while also nurturing existing customer accounts for continued growth.
Customer Relationship Building: Develop, maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships. Ensure we have multi-level contacts across key accounts;
New Business Development: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers. Utilise market insights and industry knowledge to proactively expand the customer base and drive revenue growth;
Contract Customer Management: Manage contract customers to support external sales efforts and facilitate accurate customer product forecasts. Assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals when needed;
Technical Support & Training: Provide technical support and guidance to both internal and external customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure smooth product adoption and usage. Additionally, participate in relevant training and conferences to maintain a high level of product expertise and enhance support capabilities. Provide product and technical training to both internal and external Insulect customers when deemed appropriate;
Key Internal Sales Process Activities: Oversee and execute key internal sales process activities, including quote and order processing into ERP, pricing negotiations, contract management, and customer communications. Ensure adherence to established procedures for seamless operations; and
Revenue Maximisation and Opportunity Capture: Leverage developed relationships to ensure continuity of current revenues and identify additional product sale opportunities. Capture contact, sales, and marketing information and opportunities accurately in the CRM database system.
Qualifications and Skills
Well developed telephone skills in inbound and outbound sales;
Well developed analytical and problem solving skills;
Well developed written and verbal communication skills;
Highly developed attention to detail, to ensure accurate use of internal systems and processing of information;
Sound negotiation skills;
Good technical aptitude;
Sound computer literacy including use of CRM software, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and
Ability to produce quotations and sales reports.
