Job Details

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll oversee the organisation’s technology environment end-to-end. This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll balance operational support with continuous improvement, vendor management, and input into longer-term strategy.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, external specialists, and a managed service provider (MSP) to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the organisation’s IT environment across infrastructure, cloud, and security;

  • Oversee and optimise relationships with MSPs and external vendors;

  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshoot complex technical issues;

  • Support broadcast systems in collaboration with external specialists;

  • Drive improvements across systems, processes, and documentation (SOE, asset registers, etc.);

  • Ensure strong IT governance and cyber security practices; and

  • Contribute to technology roadmap planning alongside leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in Systems Administration or IT Management;

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security;

  • Experience working across hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud);

  • Proven ability to manage vendors and MSPs;

  • Exposure to IT governance and cyber security frameworks;

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset; and

  • Experience improving processes, documentation, and overall IT maturity.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to media, broadcasting, advertising or AV environments; and

  • Experience working in smaller, lean organisations.

About You

  • Hands-on and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership;

  • A confident communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, non-corporate environment;

  • Able to balance day-to-day operations with longer-term improvements; and

  • Curious, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
