About the Role:

u&u Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing technology team based in Geelong.
 
This is a permanent opportunity with an immediate start available for a technically strong support professional who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others and delivering exceptional customer service.
 
Working within a fast-paced support environment, you'll act as a senior escalation point across a diverse range of technologies and customer environments. You'll be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, supporting key customer stakeholders, assisting junior team members and contributing to the ongoing improvement of service delivery.
 
This role will suit someone who thrives on troubleshooting challenging issues, enjoys working across multiple technology stacks and can confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 technical support and escalation management;

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and Microsoft-related issues;

  • Mentor and support junior support team members;

  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders;

  • Participate in project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives;

  • Manage multiple priorities within a high-volume support environment; and

  • Support occasional onsite troubleshooting and major escalations.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in technical support, infrastructure support or systems support roles;

  • Strong Microsoft infrastructure and Microsoft 365 experience;

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues;

  • Experience operating within structured ticketing environments;

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capability;

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities; and

  • Experience mentoring junior team members highly regarded.

Experience working across diverse client environments or within managed services environments will be highly regarded.
