We are partnering with a reputable business to recruit a Junior Business Analyst to join their team in Sydney. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders and technology teams to support new initiatives, reporting improvements and system enhancements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Business Analyst (1–2 years experience) looking to grow their career in a supportive environment where they can develop their BA capability across systems, reporting and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the collection and documentation of business and functional requirements;

• Assist with process mapping and business process improvement initiatives;

• Work with business and IT stakeholders to support system enhancements and technical solutions;

• Support reporting and data analysis to improve business visibility and decision making;

• Assist with testing activities including UAT coordination and validation;

• Document meeting outcomes, requirements and project updates;

• Support system configuration, improvements and ongoing optimisation; and

• Contribute to project planning activities and support delivery milestones.

About You

We are looking for someone early in their Business Analysis career who is keen to learn and develop in a hands-on environment.

You will likely have:

• 1–2 years experience as a Business Analyst;

• Experience supporting requirements gathering, reporting or data analysis;

• Strong Excel skills and exposure to tools such as SQL, Power BI or similar;

• Exposure to process mapping, documentation or stakeholder engagement;

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail;

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both business and technical teams; and

• A degree in Business, IT, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
