An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior HR Business Partner to join a large, national multi-site organisation on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
Sitting within an established national People & Culture function, you’ll join a supportive Melbourne-based team and take ownership of your own stakeholder portfolio across Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking to take that next step into business partnering, or an early-career HRBP wanting to continue building their capability in a large and complex environment.
You’ll work closely with operational leaders, providing practical HR advice, coaching and support across a broad range of people matters.
What will you be doing?
Partnering with leaders across your own stakeholder portfolio;
Managing employee and industrial relations matters;
Supporting workplace investigations, performance and conduct matters;
Providing advice around Modern Awards and workplace legislation;
Coaching leaders to confidently manage people matters;
Supporting change and organisational initiatives;
Contributing to broader HR projects and people initiatives; and
Building strong relationships across a geographically dispersed workforce.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with a solid grounding in generalist HR who is ready to build on their experience and take greater ownership. You’ll bring experience across ER case management, performance and conduct matters and Award interpretation, along with the confidence to build relationships with operational stakeholders. Most importantly, you’ll be practical, approachable, comfortable working autonomously and know when to lean on the broader team for support.
