If you have at least 12 months' administrative or secretarial experience within a law firm and you're looking to build a long-term career in the industry, this could be the ideal role for you.
About the role
You'll be right at the heart of the team, keeping things running smoothly day to day. Your responsibilities will include:
Opening, closing and archiving matters;
Diary management, including scheduling appointments;
Liaising with clients, courts/tribunals, other law firms and third parties;
Drafting and amending routine correspondence;
Preparing and filing court documents;
Collating briefs to counsel and experts;
Electronic and hard copy filing;
Monthly billing; and
General administrative duties.
About you
At least 12 months' administrative or secretarial experience gained within a law firm;
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure;
Exceptional attention to detail;
Strong IT skills and the confidence to pick up new systems quickly;
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated initiative; and
A genuine enthusiasm for learning and being part of a collaborative team.
Full training will be provided so you'll be set up to succeed from day one.
