This role will not suit someone who is studying a Law Degree.
Legal billing experience is a must.
It is very exciting to be able to assist one person in securing this permanent position. Within a team of about 20, your role will be varied with administration, reception and paralegal responsibilities. This ability to multi-task and up-skill is quite rare within the Legal Industry.
Assisting to support two Lawyers, your main responsibilities will include:
Billing management;
Diary Management;
Travel bookings;
Organising meetings including scheduling, preparing necessary documentation and room/AV set up;
Producing correspondence and documentation;
Email management;
Providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders;
Opening/closing files and database management;
Maintaining paper and electronic files;
Expense reimbursement and reconciliation;
Greeting visitors to the office; and
Other adhoc office administrative duties.
To be considered for this position, we are seeking:
Legal billing experience;
At least a couple of years of Administration experience within the Legal industry;
System experience including iManage, Aderant or LEAP;
Professional verbal and written communication skills; and
A willingness to really be a part of, and support the wider team.
