Job Details

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Commodities team. This role has become available due to an internal promotion, allowing for a well-supported transition.

The role will primarily support a busy and highly supportive Partner who travels frequently and values someone who is proactive, organised and able to always think one step ahead. You will also provide support to a second Partner who is largely self-sufficient, as well as working closely with associates within the team. The work involves significant diary management, coordination and forward planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner-level diary and email management;

  • Proactive coordination of travel, meetings and deadlines;

  • Document preparation and matter management;

  • Billing, reporting and general practice support; and

  • Acting as a trusted point of contact within the team.

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant (law firm experience essential);

  • Confident supporting at Partner level;

  • Highly organised, proactive and able to anticipate needs;

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment; and

  • Experience with Elite, Intapp, iManage and Chrome River preferred.
