We’re working with a highly regarded commercial law firm to find an experienced Legal Assistant to join their Employers Liability team in Sydney. This is a full-time role within one of the firm’s largest and most connected support teams.

You’ll be joining a group of around Legal Assistants who work closely together, back one another up, and make the effort to connect outside of work too. They’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team and will add to the culture.
The role
You’ll support lawyers across a busy Employers Liability practice, with responsibilities including:
Drafting and preparing court documents and correspondence;
Diary and inbox management;
Brief preparation;
Monthly billing;
Opening and closing files;
PA-style support as required; and
General administrative and secretarial duties.
About you
This role would suit someone who:
Has at least 6+ months’ recent experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm;
Has billing experience;
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail;
Communicates confidently and professionally;
Can juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Is proactive, reliable and genuinely enjoys legal support as a career; and
Likes working in a social, collaborative team.
