A varied role with a mix of billing, legal support and office exposure within a global firm.
We’re working with a global law firm on a Legal Assistant opportunity that offers something a little different.
This is a hybrid role suited to someone junior who has some exposure to billing and is looking to build on that, while also getting involved in the day-to-day running of a busy office. It’s a great opportunity to step into a role with real variety, rather than being siloed into one area.
You’ll be supporting a Partner with billing and matter administration, while also working alongside the office support team to keep things running smoothly in a collaborative environment.
The Role
This position is split across billing/legal support and office administration, giving you exposure to both sides of a law firm environment.
Billing & Legal Support
Assisting with billing, including drafting and preparing invoices;
Opening new matters and supporting with compliance processes;
Drafting basic correspondence and client documentation;
Supporting with filing and general matter administration; and
Assisting with expenses and ad hoc admin for the Partner.
Office & Reception Support
Providing reception support during busy periods;
Meeting and greeting clients and managing front of house;
Booking and setting up meeting rooms;
Assisting with events and internal functions; and
Ordering office supplies and supporting general office coordination.
About You
1–2+ years’ experience in a legal or professional services environment;
Some exposure to billing or an interest in developing this skillset;
Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers;
Organised, proactive and happy to take initiative;
A team player who enjoys being in the office and getting involved; and
Confident communicator with a professional approach.
