We’re working with a highly regarded national law firm on a Legal Assistant opportunity within their Environment team.
This is a role suited to an experienced Legal Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting a Partner who operates at a high level. The practice is thriving, and the right person will play a key role in keeping things running smoothly day-to-day.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable working at pace. The Partner has a clear and efficient communication style and values someone who can stay on top of priorities, anticipate needs, and work confidently with a high level of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Managing complex diaries and coordinating meetings;
End-to-end billing, including high-volume and high-value matters;
Drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence;
File and matter management;
Liaising with clients and stakeholders; and
General administrative support to the team.
About You
3+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant within a law firm;
Previous experience in litigation or planning & environment preferred, however, not essential;
Confident, direct communicator who can keep things moving;
Highly organised with strong attention to detail;
Proactive and able to anticipate what’s needed next; and
Comfortable working in a busy, high-performing environment.
