An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded Projects team within a leading national law firm.
You’ll be supporting a busy and highly respected Partner, along with a close-knit team of lawyers in a fast-paced, high-performing practice. This is a role where initiative is valued, autonomy is encouraged, and you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work. You’ll also be backed by a strong, collaborative support network and provided with excellent training and ongoing development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-level, proactive support to a Partner;
Managing complex and ever-changing diaries and competing priorities;
End-to-end billing, time recording, expense management and reporting;
Preparing and drafting correspondence, emails, and matter-related documents;
Managing internal and external communications and building strong working relationships;
Matter management including file opening/closing, archiving, and electronic filing; and
Coordinating travel arrangements and assisting with events as required.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a Legal Assistant or similar high-level support role within professional services or legal;
A proactive, can-do approach with the ability to work autonomously and stay one step ahead;
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
High attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure; and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
