I’m currently working with one of my favourite clients, a leading global law firm, on an opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to support a highly regarded senior Partner and their team within their Corporate practice in Sydney CBD.
This is a busy, high-level support role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and being heavily involved in the day-to-day running of a practice. The team is professional, well organised and genuinely supportive.
The role would suit someone who is proactive, calm under pressure and confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include
Complex diary and inbox management;
Coordinating meetings, travel and client communications;
Drafting and amending documents and correspondence;
Matter administration and practice support;
Billing, pre-bills and monthly reporting;
Monitoring deadlines and workflow;
Liaising with clients and senior internal stakeholders; and
Supporting the wider team where needed.
About you
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within a law firm or professional services environment;
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
Able to manage a busy workload and changing priorities;
Professional communication skills and a proactive approach; and
Someone who enjoys being a key support person within a team.
