An opportunity has come up for an intermediate Legal Assistant to join the Corporate team of a leading national law firm in Sydney CBD, supporting one Partner directly.
This is a step up for someone with around 1-2 years’ Legal Assistant experience who is ready to take on a dedicated 1:1 role and become closely involved in the day-to-day running of a busy practice.
You’ll also be joining a firm with a strong support structure, meaning you’ll have solid training, access to resources, and ongoing development as you grow in the role.
What you’ll be doing
Managing diaries, meetings and daily scheduling;
Preparing correspondence, documents and legal materials;
Billing and follow-up on outstanding invoices;
Preparing costs agreements and managing files end-to-end;
Document formatting, production and mail merges;
Direct liaison with clients and internal stakeholders; and
General administrative and practice support.
About you
1–2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant (corporate or commercial preferred but not essential);
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment;
Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities;
Strong attention to detail and good judgement; and
Looking for a role where you can settle, grow and build depth.
