An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded litigation team in Sydney, supporting the Head of Practice and wider team across some of Australia's most complex and high-profile disputes.

This is a fast-paced, highly involved role and it's interesting work. If you enjoy litigation support, thrive under pressure, and take pride in keeping a busy practice running smoothly, this one's worth a look.

What the role will involve:

  • Managing complex diaries, meetings and stakeholder coordination;

  • Preparing court documents, briefs and hearing bundles;

  • Assisting with electronic court filings and litigation support;

  • Billing, pre-bills and expense management;

  • Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and internal stakeholders; and

  • Supporting large-scale litigation matters across competing deadlines.

What they're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a commercial law firm environment;

  • Exposure to litigation or disputes work;

  • Strong organisational and time management skills;

  • A proactive approach with the ability to back yourself;

  • High attention to detail, this matters here; and

  • Confidence juggling competing priorities without dropping the ball.
