We are working with one of Australia's most reputable commercial law firms on a Legal Secretary opportunity within their Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice in Sydney. The Role
This is a fast paced, full time onsite role where you will be working closely with Partners and lawyers on some of the most complex and high-profile litigation matters in the country. No two days will look the same and you will need to be someone who thrives under pressure and takes real pride in the support they provide.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Drafting, formatting and collating legal documents including commercial contracts, deeds and agreements;
Preparing correspondence, memos and email communications along with managing client and internal communications;
Handling timesheet entry and supporting billing and client account preparation;
Coordinating file and diary management including scheduling and travel arrangements;
Maintaining electronic filing systems and overseeing file maintenance, archiving and records management; and
Providing general administrative support as required.
About You
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation;
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines;
Experience in timesheet entry and client billing preparation;
Sharp eye for detail and a service-oriented mindset;
Proactive and switched on, someone who does not need to be told twice; and
Someone who wants to be part of something and not just show up and clock out.
