A newly created opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a leading national law firm and provide dedicated support to a Partner within their Private Advisory practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in estate litigation who enjoys working closely with a Partner and taking ownership of their day-to-day support. The team is currently very slim, so you will play an important role in helping establish and support the practice as it continues to grow.
The role
Provide dedicated Legal Assistant support to a Partner within the Private Advisory team;
Manage the Partner’s diary, emails and day-to-day administrative requirements;
Prepare, format and proofread legal documents and correspondence;
Assist with file management, billing and general matter administration;
Coordinate documents and assist with witnessing requirements; and
Work closely with the Partner and take ownership of the support function.
About you
At least 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary;
Previous experience supporting an estate litigation practice is highly desirable;
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills;
Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities;
Professional, reliable and proactive in your approach; and
Someone who enjoys working in a smaller, quieter team environment.
