A national commercial law firm is looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Competition, Regulatory & Risk team in the Sydney CBD. This is a newly created role driven by growth, offering the chance to step into a busy, high-performing practice with a supportive team and plenty of room to develop.

The Role
You’ll be supporting a Special Counsel and a Senior Associate, providing high-level administrative and organisational support across competition, regulatory and risk matters. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing, editing and formatting documents, reports and briefs;
Diary and email management for two senior fee earners;
Assisting with monthly billing and practice management tasks;
File and matter management across multiple deadlines;
Coordinating meetings, client communication and occasional travel; and
Supporting broader team workflows and general administrative tasks.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in litigation;
Enjoys being busy and can manage competing deadlines comfortably;
Has strong attention to detail, initiative and communication skills;
Is polished, organised and proactive in how they work; and
Works well in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
