We’re seeking a senior legal assistant to support a Partner in a busy commercial litigation team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll keep matters running smoothly, coordinate with clients, counsel, and courts, and ensure everything from court documents to diaries and filings is meticulously managed.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing complex diaries and inboxes, including scheduling meetings and conferences;

  • Drafting court documents, correspondence, and conducting searches;

  • Maintaining matter files and ensuring all documents are organised and accurate;

  • Handling billing, time recording, expenses, and reporting;

  • Coordinating domestic and international travel; and

  • Assisting with team initiatives, including participation in firm-wide projects that promote inclusion, wellbeing, and engagement.

About you

  • At least three years’ experience supporting a commercial or litigation practice;

  • Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing competing priorities;

  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion;

  • Tech-savvy, with experience in document management, and billing systems; and

  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and contributing to the smooth running of the practice.
