I am delighted to be partnering with one of our esteemed clients to recruit a Legal Assistant for their highly regarded Commercial and Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Property, Conveyancing or Commercial experience who is seeking a hardworking, supportive team with a genuinely positive culture.
About the Role
Reporting to Partners within the Commercial and Property practice, this position provides high-level administrative and legal support across a diverse mix of matters. The firm is well established, collaborative and values someone who brings strong organisation, initiative and an interest in contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, formatting and drafting correspondence and legal documents;
Opening, closing and archiving files;
Maintaining accurate file systems, including iManage and physical filing;
Managing calendars, scheduling and daily workflow;
Coordinating monthly billing and assisting with time entry;
Conducting online searches and supporting due diligence tasks;
Liaising with clients, organising meetings and supporting general administration; and
Contributing to efficiency improvements in a traditionally paper-heavy environment.
About You
You will bring:
A minimum of 1 year experience as a Legal Assistant;
Previous experience in Property, Conveyancing or Commercial law is preferred;
Strong attention to detail and proactive organisational skills; and
A positive, team-focused approach and genuine interest in contributing to a great culture.
