I’m partnering with a progressive and supportive national law firm in Sydney CBD, looking for an Intermediate Legal Assistant to join their Risks team. What you’ll do
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Principal Lawyer and Risks team;
Assist with WIP, pre-bills, monthly billing cycles, and debtor management;
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth client service;
Open new matters, conduct conflict checks, maintain electronic filing, and prepare briefs; and
Draft and amend legal correspondence and documents, and assist with reporting.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in a legal support role, ideally in a law firm;
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities;
Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality;
Proactive, can-do attitude and a team player mindset; and
Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Aderant and iManage is a plus.
