The Role

This position offers the opportunity to support a growing Queensland business and contribute to high-profile projects nationally. You will:

• Draft, review and negotiate D&C, EPCM, Alliance and consultancy agreements;

• Provide legal and commercial advice through tender, delivery and completion phases;

• Support project teams on risk allocation, variations, extensions of time and claims;

• Advise on disputes, insurance and professional indemnity matters (with external counsel support as required);

• Deliver internal legal and commercial training to enhance risk awareness; and

• Contribute to corporate governance, compliance and policy development.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years’ post-admission experience, ideally in construction, projects or infrastructure law;

• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills with a practical mindset;

• A sound understanding of different contracting models;

• Confidence working autonomously while collaborating closely with a national legal team; and

• A collegiate, down-to-earth approach and the ability to engage effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
