Job Details

I’m working with a global law firm on a Legal PA opportunity within their Employment team. This role has been created due to an internal promotion and sits within a stable team that doesn’t experience high turnover.

You’ll be supporting a friendly, collaborative and passionate Employment group made up of 1 Partner, 2 Senior Associates and 3 junior lawyers. The junior lawyers are largely self-sufficient, so the role is focused on providing high-level support to the Partner and Senior Associates. There is also the opportunity to support a Partner who is one of the highest billers across the APAC region.

Why this role stands out:

  • Role created due to promotion;

  • Friendly, supportive and passionate team with low turnover;

  • Global firm environment with clear career progression;

  • Flexible working with 1-day WFH; and

  • Earn a salary up to $100,000 package negotiable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing emails, diaries, travel and expenses;

  • Preparing correspondence, presentations and overseeing document production;

  • Matter administration, compliance checks and engagement letters;

  • Supporting client relationships, events and business development;

  • Managing billing processes and invoicing; and

  • Mentoring junior team members and assisting with wider admin support.

About you:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm;

  • Experience supporting a Partner and a team of lawyers;

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail;

  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working independently; and

  • Confident with MS Office and practice management systems (Aderant, iTimeKeep, Emburse highly desired but not essential).

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong communication skills;

  • Ability to manage competing priorities;

  • Calm approach in a fast-paced environment; and

  • Team-first attitude and professionalism.
