What is the role?

As a Legal PA, you will provide high-level support to a busy Partner and team across a range of insurance and workers compensation matters.

  • Diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements;

  • Drafting, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence;

  • File management, opening and closing matters and maintaining records;

  • Monthly billing, expense management and reporting;

  • Liaising with clients, barristers, medical professionals and other stakeholders;

  • Assisting with court documents, briefs and matter coordination; and

  • Supporting high-profile and sensitive matters including psychological injury claims and liability disputes.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary within a law firm;

  • Experience in insurance, litigation or workers compensation is highly regarded;

  • Strong Microsoft Office and document management skills;

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities;

  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills; and

  • A proactive and team-focused approach.
