We’re partnering with a growing Australian specialist lender in the equity release space, helping Australians access the equity in their homes.

This isn’t a traditional banking role. You’ll join a close-knit, energetic team and have genuine ownership of your customers from their first enquiry right through to settlement and beyond.

The Role

You’ll work across direct and referred leads, speaking with customers, understanding their needs and converting genuine opportunities into applications and settled loans.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Speaking with and qualifying new customers;

• Understanding their needs and financial circumstances;

• Converting enquiries into applications;

• Writing and packaging loan applications for Credit;

• Managing customers from enquiry through to settlement;

• Following up documents, e-signing and outstanding requirements;

• Working closely with Credit and Operations to keep deals moving;

• Maintaining a strong CRM pipeline and follow-up process; and

• Building relationships with customers post-settlement.

About You

We’re looking for someone with 1 to 3 years’ experience in lending, mortgage broking or financial services who is ready to keep developing.

You’ll have:

• Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (essential);

• Hands-on lending and/or loan application experience;

• Strong customer and communication skills;

• An interest in sales and conversion;

• Good organisation and attention to detail;

• A genuine desire to learn and grow; and

• An empathetic, customer-first approach.

Experience in equity release isn't essential, the product can be taught.
