Your new role:

Local to Dandenong, your new role will see you reporting to the Maintenance Manager working 3pm – 11pm. Some overtime will occur on occasion. Your new role will see you minimise downtime, enhance production output, and uphold plant facilities in a safe, timely and clean way.

You will adhere to preventative & reactive maintenance, saftey improvements, machine and equipment housekeeping, CI projects, reporting and record keeping.

Specifically, your new role will see you:

• Working on allocated tickets, MEX / CMMS system, and adhering to PMS and reactive;

• Adhering to diagnostics - responsible for site machinery (including CNC driven machines), aircon maintenance, MIG welding, adherence to plant schedules and absolute commitment to saftey first & 5S;

• Commissioning or installing new / existing plant equipment, servicing and overhauling various pumps, conveyor systems servicing repairs;

• Training & development activities related to responsibilities;

• Capability to read and complete engineering drawings as needed;

• Maintaining accurate records of spare parts and machinery reporting,

• Ability to work across various projects, and multitask; and

• Paramount will be your commitment to OH&S.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance Fitting, and formally qualified;

• Proficiency in using workshop machines and interpreting mechanical drawings;

• Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge at intermediate to advanced levels;

• Desirable – MIG welding, forklift licence, robotics, PLC knowledge, e-coat, and powder coat systems, laser and press brake knowledge, Motorman & ABB robotics, scissor / boom licence, confined space, and / or working at heights;

• Live local to Dandenong & surrounding suburbs and seeking an immediate, permanent opportunity;

• Proven experience within best practice organisations (automotive, defence, aerospace manufacturing); and

• A team player, dedicated to deadlines, & execution of excellence in delivery and the tenacity to achieve timely solutions.
