Maintenance Officer – Part Time

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join a well-established aged care village on a permanent part-time basis.

This role will be based across two sites:

  • Thursdays – Temora; and

  • Fridays – Cootamundra.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in maintaining safe and well-presented facilities, and has strong general maintenance coordination skills.

What’s on offer

  • Permanent part-time opportunity;

  • 2 days per week;

  • Salary package of $64k + super (pro rata);

  • Immediate start available; and

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of homes and village facilities;

  • Coordinate and organise general repairs and maintenance works;

  • Arrange external contractors for services such as mowing and grounds maintenance;

  • Identify and report safety hazards, damaged walkways or facility issues;

  • Ensure the village is maintained to a high standard for residents; and

  • Liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of works.

About You

  • Previous experience in facilities, property or maintenance coordination;

  • Strong communication and organisational skills;

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities;

  • Hands-on and proactive approach;

  • Experience within aged care, retirement living or property maintenance will be highly regarded; and

  • Current driver’s licence required.
