Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) is seeking a strategic, creative and outcomes-driven Marketing Manager – Consumer to lead the delivery of integrated marketing activity that drives destination demand and brand visibility across Australia and New Zealand.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in how Brisbane is positioned. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll shape and execute creative, insight-led campaigns that inspire travel, elevate Brisbane’s position, and contribute to the city’s economic growth.
 
What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development and delivery of integrated consumer marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and demand - across digital, content, publicity, media, creative and partnerships;

• Manage campaign execution and performance by overseeing agencies, suppliers and internal teams;

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align strategy, maximise reach and deliver connected, high-impact marketing activity;

• Plan and manage budgets effectively, using data and insights to optimise resources and support continuous improvement; and

• Provide strategic marketing leadership to both your team and stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

• Extensive experience in tourism, travel, leisure or a similarly high-volume consumer environment, ideally with multi-market exposure;

• Experience leading, developing and supporting a high-performing marketing team;

• A strong track record delivering integrated campaigns across digital, media, content, brand and traditional channels;

• Confidence managing agency relationships - media, creative, digital and production, to deliver cohesive, high-performing work;

• A strategic mindset supported by a sharp brand and creative eye, able to translate insights into compelling marketing activity; and

• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build strong internal and external relationships.
