We’re partnering with SJ Higgins Group, a highly regarded Tier 2 construction business with a strong and growing presence across Queensland and Victoria, to find their next Marketing Manager.

This would suit a hands-on marketer who wants to own the function, bring fresh ideas to the table, and genuinely shape how the business shows up in the market.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, you’ll take full ownership of the marketing function and play a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth. No two days will look the same, and you’ll have the freedom to bring campaigns and ideas to life.

  • Leading marketing activity across Queensland and Victoria;

  • Supporting business development initiatives, including tenders and EOIs;

  • Creating and maintaining capability statements, collateral and branded templates;

  • Managing the marketing calendar, campaigns, events and sponsorships;

  • Driving digital presence across social media, newsletters and website updates;

  • Ensuring brand consistency across all external and internal touchpoints; and

  • Working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders to bring growth strategies to life.

Skills and Experience

To set you up for success, you’ll ideally bring:

  • Marketing experience within construction, property, engineering or the built environment;

  • Exposure to tenders, EOIs and proposal submissions;

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite highly regarded);

  • Strong writing skills, content creation ability and attention to detail;

  • Confidence working closely with senior leaders and BD teams; and

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle deadlines.
