About the role
This National Account Manager role will see you take ownership of several key mass retail customers across the Australian market
Working closely with senior sales leadership and the broader commercial team, you will lead the strategy across major retail partners
At its core, the role is about building strong customer partnerships while delivering sustainable and profitable growth. You will develop both short and long term account strategies, manage customer budgets and ensure the commercial plan is delivering the outcomes it should
You will work closely with marketing and commercial teams to bring campaigns and trade initiatives to life, helping drive consumer demand and strengthen brand presence across the retail channel
There is also a strong analytical element to the role. Understanding what is happening in the category, interpreting performance data and identifying opportunities to improve results will be an important part of the job
About you
You are likely already operating in a National Account Manager or Key Account Manager role within FMCG, consumer products or a related category
You enjoy working closely with major retailers and understand how these partnerships operate. From commercial negotiations and promotional planning through to analysing sales performance and identifying growth opportunities, you are comfortable
taking ownership of your accounts
Commercially you are confident working with data and category insights, but you also understand that strong customer relationships are still at the centre of good account management
Most importantly, you bring curiosity, energy and a proactive mindset. Someone who enjoys the pace of consumer products, likes solving problems and takes genuine pride in delivering results
