**About the Role
**This role will report directly to the National Sales Manager. The National Business Manager will be responsible for managing a major grocery portfolio nationally.
This role is highly autonomous and requires an experienced candidate who will ensure sales growth.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Manage annual negotiations including trading terms and conditions;
Develop promotional and trade activation programs;
Regularly liaise with brand principles;
Identify new business opportunities and customers;
Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations to deliver commercial outcomes; and
Analyse customer, category and shopper insights to drive decision making.
About You
Demonstrated experience managing a large grocery account at a National level;
In depth knowledge and established relationships in the Independents Channel;
Degree in Business/Marketing, or related fields (preferred);
Excellent selling skills and proven key account management experience in FMCG;
Proven track record of developing Joint Business Plans and delivering against key outcomes; and
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
