**About the Role

**This role will report directly to the National Sales Manager. The National Business Manager will be responsible for managing a major grocery portfolio nationally.

This role is highly autonomous and requires an experienced candidate who will ensure sales growth.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Manage annual negotiations including trading terms and conditions;

• Develop promotional and trade activation programs;

• Regularly liaise with brand principles;

• Identify new business opportunities and customers;

• Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations to deliver commercial outcomes; and

• Analyse customer, category and shopper insights to drive decision making.

About You

• Demonstrated experience managing a large grocery account at a National level;

• In depth knowledge and established relationships in the Independents Channel;

• Degree in Business/Marketing, or related fields (preferred);

• Excellent selling skills and proven key account management experience in FMCG;

• Proven track record of developing Joint Business Plans and delivering against key outcomes; and

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
