About the Role
This is a critical leadership role with full ownership of the grocery channel.
You’ll lead national sales strategy across a complex retail environment, owning channel P&L, portfolio prioritisation, pricing architecture and trade investment strategy.
This role sits at the centre of the commercial function, influencing direction and driving performance.
You’ll partner closely with marketing, finance and category to shape and deliver the 3–5 year channel plan, while building and leading a high-performing team to execute it.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning the end-to-end grocery channel P&L, including revenue, profit and trade investment;
Leading and coaching a team of account managers to deliver forecast, growth and execution targets;
Driving pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness and trade spend optimisation;
Delivering Joint Business Plans aligned to category and commercial strategy;
Setting channel strategy, including portfolio prioritisation and growth pathways;
Ensuring forecast accuracy and alignment to demand planning and business objectives;
Partnering cross-functionally across marketing, category, supply chain and finance;
Leading strategic customer conversations and long-term partnerships; and
Driving category growth through insight-led ranging and execution.
About You
You’re an experienced commercial leader who understands what it takes to own and grow a grocery channel.
You’ve operated at senior NAM or NBM level and are comfortable owning a P&L, leading teams and influencing outcomes across a complex retail environment.
You’ll bring:
Proven FMCG experience within grocery, with strong commercial delivery;
Experience owning or contributing to full P&L performance;
Strength in Joint Business Planning, pricing and trade spend management;
Leadership capability, with experience developing high-performing teams;
Strong cross-functional influence across marketing, category and finance;
Ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term execution; and
You’re commercially sharp, confident in front of customers and able to lead from the front in a high-performance environment.
