About the Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing warehousing, distribution, transport, and inventory operations across a national network. Based in Sydney, you will lead the local logistics function while also providing operational oversight and support to multiple interstate sites. 
 
This position is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who enjoys driving performance, building high-performing teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across complex supply chain operations. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead national warehousing, dispatch, receiving, distribution, and inventory operations;

• Drive operational performance across DIFOT, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost control;

• Manage and develop warehouse and logistics leadership teams across multiple locations;

• Oversee transport coordination, freight performance, and third-party carrier relationships;

• Identify and implement process improvements across systems, reporting, and operational procedures;

• Ensure strong compliance with WHS, operational, and quality standards;

• Work closely with manufacturing, customer service, procurement, finance, and sales teams to improve operational outcomes; and

• Travel interstate as required to support operational consistency and site performance.

Requirements

• Significant experience within warehousing, logistics, and distribution leadership roles;

• Proven background managing multi-site operations within manufacturing, industrial, or fast-paced operational environments;

• Strong knowledge of transport, dispatch, inventory control, and warehouse management;

• Experience driving operational improvement and process standardisation;

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of freight and warehousing cost drivers;

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills; and

• Strong ERP and warehouse systems experience.
