**About the Role
**Reporting to the Product Development Manager, this role will lead product development projects from concept through to commercial launch. Working closely with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Commercial teams and customers, you'll play a key role in developing innovative food products, driving continuous improvement initiatives and delivering commercially successful outcomes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage new product development projects from concept to launch;
Translate customer briefs into commercially viable product solutions;
Develop, trial and commercialise new products and packaging;
Lead factory trials, process validation and product scale up activities;
Drive cost optimisation, quality improvements and product enhancements; and
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
A degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field;
Experience in NPD/Product Development within FMCG or food manufacturing;
Proven capability managing projects from concept through to launch;
Strong factory trial, commercialisation and stakeholder management skills; and
A proactive, hands on approach with excellent attention to detail.
