Are you an NV1-cleared Change Manager who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments where structure is still being established and outcomes need to be delivered at pace?
We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to support the delivery of a critical classified environments program. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-profile initiative focused on building and operationalising secure environments that will support future Defence and Government capabilities.
This is not a traditional change role with established processes, mature governance and plenty of lead time. Instead, we're looking for someone who can quickly assess impacts, navigate ambiguity, establish stakeholder engagement mechanisms and help drive operational readiness in a highly dynamic environment.
Based in Melbourne CBD, this initial 6-month contract offers strong extension potential, with a significant program milestone due by December and ongoing change activity expected beyond that point.
About the Role:
Working closely with project, technical and operational teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation is prepared for the successful adoption of new processes, technologies and ways of working within a classified environment.
You will:
Conduct change impact and business readiness assessments across multiple workstreams;
Identify risks, dependencies and organisational impacts associated with program delivery;
Develop and execute pragmatic change, communication and engagement plans;
Establish stakeholder working groups and forums to support adoption and alignment;
Drive operational readiness, transition planning and business assurance activities;
Develop training materials, user guides and supporting documentation;
Support cutover, go-live and transition-to-BAU activities; and
Partner closely with technical delivery, engineering and operational teams.
This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and who is comfortable operating reactively to rapidly moving project milestones.
About You:
You are a pragmatic and adaptable Change Manager who has previously delivered change within highly regulated, secure or complex technology environments.
You'll bring:
Active NV1 Security Clearance (essential);
Experience delivering change across infrastructure, cyber security, technology, platform or secure environment programs;
Strong business readiness, operational readiness and assurance experience;
Proven capability conducting change impact assessments and managing change risks;
Experience working in ambiguous environments where processes, governance and operating models are still evolving;
Exposure to ServiceNow implementations or enterprise technology platforms;
Experience working alongside technical delivery, engineering and architecture teams; and
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Change Manager who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems and helping shape the future operating environment of a critical program.
Please note: Active NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory for this position.
Applications close COB Wednesday, 24 June.
