We are partnering with a boutique law firm in Sydney CBD on the search for their next Operations Manager.
The firm is going through a period of change and needs a steady, experienced operator who knows how to keep a legal practice running smoothly while things evolve around them. If you are someone who thrives in that environment, this is worth a conversation.
What the role involves:
Overseeing the day to day operations of a busy legal practice;
Leading and supporting a team of EAs and Paralegals;
Owning payroll and key finance processes;
Managing facilities, suppliers and internal workflows;
Supporting the Directors with reporting, operational insights and meeting preparation;
Championing practice management and document management systems;
Identifying efficiencies and driving improvements across the business; and
Contributing to culture, engagement and internal communications.
What they are looking for:
5 plus years in an Operations Manager role within a law firm or professional services environment;
Strong finance and payroll experience;
Proven experience leading and developing support teams;
Familiarity with legal practice management systems;
A proactive, solutions focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities;
Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels; and
Candidates with a finance background who have moved into operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
What is on offer:
Up to $150,000 plus super, depending on experience;
Senior role with direct access to the Directors and a real seat at the table; and
