A growing boutique law firm is creating a brand-new Operations Manager role to bring structure, consistency, and stronger performance across its support function. If you enjoy leading people, improving processes, and shaping how a business operates, this is a great opportunity to make your mark.
You’ll lead both the onshore admin team and the offshore support team, with a strong focus on people management, performance, and workflow oversight. A key part of the role is ensuring the offshore team is meeting SLAs, maintaining quality, and following compliance standards.
You’ll also take the lead on improving the use of the practice management system, introducing more structure and governance around processes. The role involves working closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the legal team, so being comfortable operating in the grey and managing remotely is important.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the onshore admin team and offshore support team;
Oversee performance, workflow, SLAs, and compliance;
Improve governance and structure across operational processes;
Lift the quality, accuracy, and consistency of work;
Support budgeting and invoice reconciliation;
Drive digitisation and streamline onboarding processes;
Set up new starters with systems, equipment, and access;
Maintain operational documents and induction materials; and
Champion stronger use of technology.
About You
Experience in operations, ideally within professional services or a law firm;
Confident people leader with strong communication skills;
Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive;
Comfortable working with ambiguity and managing remotely; and
Strong analytical skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office.
