Job Details

I’m currently working with a well-regarded plaintiff personal injury firm in Sydney CBD that is continuing to grow and strengthen its presence in the market. The firm has built a strong reputation in the personal injury space, led by experienced practitioners who have developed an impressive brand and are known for the quality of their work.

This is a full-time opportunity within a collaborative and supportive environment, where you’ll be learning from highly regarded leaders and given the opportunity to develop your skills over time. Many of the team have progressed internally, and growth is genuinely encouraged.

The role

You’ll be supporting a consolidated personal injury team working across workers’ compensation and common law matters, reporting into an experienced Practice Director who has progressed through the firm.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of matters and play a key part in keeping things running smoothly.

Responsibilities will include

  • Assisting with file management across workers’ compensation and common law matters;

  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence;

  • Liaising with clients and taking initial enquiries;

  • Organising medical records and briefs; and

  • General administrative and paralegal support to the team.

About you

This role will suit someone with at least 6 months’ Paralegal experience within plaintiff personal injury who is looking to continue building their career in a supportive firm.

You’ll ideally bring

  • Previous Paralegal experience in personal injury (plaintiff side);

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail;

  • Confidence working in a busy, structured environment;

  • A proactive and reliable approach; and

  • The ability to commit to a full-time role.

This position is best suited to someone who enjoys working in a Paralegal capacity and is looking to continue progressing in this space, rather than pursuing a move into a solicitor role in the near term.

If you’re looking for a role where you can build on your legal experience and be part of a team that is continuing to grow, I’d love to hear from you.
